The kennels were all refurbished in 2002 and range in size from units for single pets to large ones capable of taking a family of 4 large dogs. Each kennel has its own attached covered exercise area.
The blocks are centrally heated and kennel floors are high-tech plastic or resin-based material to ensure easy cleaning and odour free kennels and dogs.
We also have a small, cosy cattery with flexible accommodation to cater for single cats or families of up to 4 cats.
Exercise
The kennels are set in approx 2 acres and all dogs are walked twice a day in the kennel’s own grounds. For safety reasons they are walked on 8m flexi-leads and each handler walks only dogs from one kennel at a time.
Food
We can cater for most dietary needs. Our standard complete food is James Wellbeloved which is a high quality hypoallergenic food free from wheat and gluten. We also stock Bakers, Iams, Chappie, Beta and Burns complete foods. Chappie and Winalot tins and a mixerbiscuit.
Dogs also have Shapes and Markies morning and evening. Clean drinking water is provided in each kennel at all times.
For cats we stock a range of food - in jelly, in gravy, fish, fowl or meat - in pouches so that the 'meat' your cat is given is always fresh. A selection of dry complete foods is also available, as is cat biscuit.
Each cat pen has clean drinking water and a litter tray.
Bedding, Bowls and Toys
Each kennel and cat pen is provided with a plastic bed(s) and professional vet bedding which is designed to be very warm and hygienic - quick and easy to wash. If you wish to bring in a comforter or a favourite toy please do so. We also supply feed bowls and water bowls.
Medication
We are happy to administer any treatment that has already been prescribed for your dog and details of any existing medical conditions and medication should be given in writing and discussed with Gail or Iain on arrival. All medication must be clearly labelled.
Grooming
We offer a full professional dog grooming service in our well equipped grooming room.
